Oath of Eternal ChildOath of Eternal Child
I will never grow up.
I will forever be a child.
I am the marionette in the toy master’s hands.
My fantasies will be wrecked.
My dreams will be crushed.
But I will build from these flames a wonderland.
I will hide behind vulgarities.
I will push myself through life.
I will attain every last desire I can find within my heart.
I will be the princess.
I will be the queen.
I will rule over every single dream.
I have but a dew drop of innocence.
I may lose even that.
But I will never let the beautiful child in me die.
I will be felled.
I will be punished.
But never shall I stay on the ground.
I will be ruthless.
I will be heartless.
I have no choice within my destiny.
I will climb every step.
I will scale every mountain twice.
I will be the functioning god above all.
I will follow in my master’s footsteps.
I will obey every command.
I will believe until the very end.
I shall be the princess with my dreams spread out before me.
Heavyhanded NothingnessI want I want I want
you give and give and give
only when the world is in my palm
can I give back.
Am I selfish? Am I blind?
Your opinion doesn't occur
in my calculations.
I already know.
I know, for me (or us) / you'd give the world.
Whose hand shall it fall in first?
Who is ambitious enough
and willing to fall the hardest?
I want and want and want
you give you give you give
705 items, that's where the list is at.
When can I get them all and more?
Don't tell me I have too much,
I don't believe in such things.
I am the god that needs pleasing
and the parasite that needs feeding.
And you all combine
to make up
the body of hosts.
I am a devil
in disguise of sunlight,
the angel that you worship
the flower from hell.
I blossomed into this world
from a cut up woman's body,
Beautiful from the beginning,
Difficult, already getting in the way.
Love Poem [not]It sounds like "I love you" and looks like a promise and tastes black like licorice. The leaves lose color as they fall around you so that I cannot promise you that I will always be supportive of you. But most of all I'll remember the dead leaves in your hair, the ones you drank the color from. It feels like "I love you" and smells like wet leaves and it falls through the air like a weight. I do promise you that I will not change, even when you give me the gift I do not want. Don't tell me I will share all my thoughts and feelings with you. These are things I do not wish to hear; let me keep my secrets in little acorns around my neck. Lulu told me I cannot promise you that I will protect you. But - I do promise you your secrets. Maybe I can't say I will always be strong, left with you and no Lulu. So as you drain the color from my world, I do promise you that I'll remain.
SolaceShe never slept well in the dark,
not without the children of the sun and moon
to guide her weary lids home.
Guided by the aftermath, she was always two steps behind.
What did the world look like to the girl who had been through it all?
Braved the heaviest of storms,
yet skipping over cracks in the pavement.
They said her eyes were the wisps of clouds before the storm.
To him they were reflections of pages overlooked.
She said it was like she lived the life of someone she had never met.
Laid out to dry, yesterdays news.
He knew her as the girl who was built to never collapse.
He wished he was too.
He loved her more than words could say, and yet her pain was such,
that at times, he feared she wouldn’t make it.
But on nights like these, even when it threatened to consume her,
he became convinced that somehow she would.
